Vancouver born, award winning Dee Lippingwell started her journalistic photography career some 30 years ago, concentrating her attention and her lens on the entertainment industry. Her love of music propelled her toward shooting local musicians and her success on that level led her into shooting the most famous of all rock idols of the 70', 80's, 90's and on into a new century. Dee has been published all over the world, including England, Japan, Germany and the USA and through her hard-edge determination and a commitment to her craft she is an integral link in the International music chain. Her candidly striking photographs of the world's most famous personalities adorn exhibit halls, magazines, calendars and programs. A few years ago Dee had two of her photographs accepted into the National Library of Canada.

Her love of capturing that "live" moment onstage has not diminished at all over the years. Not only is there a significant amount of live entertainment to shoot with the opening of two new show theatres in the area, she also loves shooting CD covers, promotional headshots (even the corporate ones!). She's also kept busy, shooting a vairiety of Special Events happening around the country.

Her love of all photography is evident when looking at her portfolio of wedding couples and some of her family portraits. Her wedding storybook that she presents to each bride and groom are a treasured reminder of a most wonderful event. Family portraiture is a fun job for Dee and she loves the fact that every day is a different shoot and everyday she just loves going to her "job".
